What Makes a movie Classic?

In this course we look at extracts from both early and recent films to try and discover just what makes these films special or different.

We'll be considering the 'language' of these films - camera work, editing, sound, lighting, acting styles - and discussing how this language works to produce a great movie.

U3A On Line - New courses

 

The U3A Organisation  in Queensland now has an incorporated network - U3A Network Queensland Inc and a detailed U3A online directory.

 

Members are reminded that clicking on www.u3aonline.org.au will give them direct access to courses available on line. There are 35 of them and subjects include, Unleashing your creative spirit, Saving the soil, Writing family history,Continents on the move and 31 other interesting topics.

 

All 35 subjects are available to Tamborine U3A members for a small fee and can be viewed at www.u3aonline.org.au

This  adds a further dimension to activities for members of our organisation.
